Project «Two-room apartment at the River Station»

Description

Two-room apartment on Rechnoy Vokzal (Moscow) Area: 43 sq.m. . Interior designer: Ksenia Kokoreva Visualizations: Bazhena Maksimova. The clients, a young couple, moved to Moscow from St. Petersburg several years ago and rented an apartment on Rechnoy Vokzal. They loved this area so much that when buying the apartment, they decided to sacrifice square meters in favor of the location. The apartment they bought is located in a nine-story brick building built in 1965. All the internal partitions in the apartment turned out to be non-load-bearing, and this gave us many opportunities for redevelopment. The main limitation in planning the space was gas in the kitchen. According to regulations, if there is gas in the kitchen, there must be a door. As a result, we designed two glass partitions that separate the living room from the kitchen and bedroom. And it seems that they have become the main decoration of this small but cozy apartment.
